Solid Capture is a screen capture tool that is easy to use to capture anything on your screen.  The Solid Capture user interface are configured with really big and helpful buttons for fast screen captures.  Solid Capture is able to do screen capture from a portion of user screen to a full screen size.  It even able to do a full screen capture for multiple monitors.  Any of the screen capture images then can be saved to a PDF format or PNG, GIF, JPG TIF or BMP format.   Another notable features of Solid Capture is that the extraction of text within screen capture image to a text editor in a single step.  This however, requires pre-install of MS Office 2003 or higher in order to work in Solid Capture.

Solid Capture user interface is divided into four sections.  The Main Toolbar is where user can invoke any screen capture functions, modify settings or access the Solid Capture help file.  Action Buttons is the where user can print, edit, save or email their screen capture immediately.  Captions can be added to each screen capture at Preview Window.  External screen capture images from other locations on the hard drive can be drag-and-drop easily into Selection Strip or user may do select multiple screen captures for editing or printing.

This screen capture tool is approximately 4.89MB for download, 12.4MB and is compatible with Window 2000 and above.  In order to get the free version of Solid Capture, you have to fill in  registration form with your particulars and email address.  An unlock code will be sent to your email address where you can enter it after installation.  Here are the run down of detailed steps to get a genuine unlock code for Solid Capture:

1. Go to soliddocuments.com.
2. Enter username, a valid email address and organization name and click Register.
3. Download and install Solid Capture(4.89MB).
4. Retrieve the unlock code from same email address entered during registration.
5. Launch Solid Capture, and at prompt select I already have an unlock code and would like to  unlock Solid Capture. Click Unlock.
6. Enter username, e-mail, organization and unlock code exactly as in unlock code email received and click OK.
