Tapster is one of the coolest Bluetooth headset in town.  Compared with other conventional headset of similar design, the Philips Tapster is actually an in-ear earphones with an outer shell of a ultra sensitive touch interface for audio playback and volume control.

Right Ear Piece

On the right earpiece, incoming call can be accepted by tapping once on the right ear piece and volume can be adjusted by sliding forward or backward motion. Hanging up or rejecting a call is just a simple press and hold for 0.5 seconds.  Removing this side of the earpiece will automatically transferred the call to your hand phone and can be transferred back by wearing it back on.

On the left earpiece, you can slide forward or backward for the next song, press for 0.5 seconds to stop and double tap the surface for two FullSound enhancement mode. There are the ‘Natural’ and the ‘Dynamic Bass’ of  FullSound mode which run on a powerful chip

within the Bluetooth headset. Listening to classical, acoustic or Jazz will be superb on ‘Natural’ mode while ‘Dynamic Bass’ will be out of this world for Hip Hop, Techno and bass music. To top it off, the SBH 7110 Bluetooth stereo headset also comes with echo control and noise reduction so listening to music or phone call is pristine clear and without distortion.

The Tapster can be worn around the neck comfortably, and comes with additonal earhooks for extra secure fit during jogging or at gym pumping iron.  Compared to others Bluetooth headset the SHB 7110 Bluetooth headset comes with its own stylish carrying case for a nice tuck in during battery out.  Although it doesn’t comes with an adapter, Tapster can be charge on any USB port using a USB charging cable.

Like any latest Bluetooth headset, auto pairing is done once and easily.  Any phone brands that support the A2DP, AVRCP, HF and HS can pair with Tapster.   As for iPhone which currently does not support AD2P but support Bluetooth 2.0 +EDR which means you can pair it for receiving calls but not listening to music from iPhone
