If you are using MS Outlook you know how painful it is to go through a myriad of windows and clicks before you can even see your calendar.  Not anymore if you are using Outlook on the Desktop a.k.a. OoTD.  Outlook on the Desktop is a one cool desktop widget where you can pin you Outlook Calendar to your desktop and stays there all the time in plain sight so you can always see all upcoming schedule.  Outlook on the Desktop helps make Outlook Calendar visible and useable all the time without actually having to open Outlook. .  Therefore you may easily view and keep track of schedule, meetings, screenings, task hours and other important commitments.  Plus more, you may set the level of opacity for the Outlook on the Desktop interface which allows you to view your desktop icons and background image.
Outlook On The Desktop Features:

  • Places fully functional Microsoft Outlook Calendar on your Desktop.
  • The Oulook Calendar is pinned to your desktop so that no windows can get stuck behind it.
  • Outlook on the Desktop allows display of multiple instances of Outlook such as Task, Inbox, Calendar and etc
  • The Calendar´s position, size and opacity are all adjustable via a very intuitive GUI.
  • A tray Icon is provided to get to the preferences or close the application if desired.

Requirements to run Outlook On The Desktop:

  • Windows XP or higher
  • Microsoft Outlook 2000 SP3 or higher
  • Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5
  • (The setup program will download and install it for you if you don’t have it)

Outlook on the Desktop is developed by Michael Scrivo and is available for download at approx 572KB file size.  Now it would be great too if you donate to his effort for developing such a cool desktop widget and some more  free to use.  Let support good people who developed freeware, yeah!
