JaBack is free automated data backup software developed on Java by HiTeck Software. This data backup software is easy to use with its user friendly interface. The best of JaBack is that it helps to automate all the important tasks for you, such as, make automatic backups, synchronize files or folders, perform archive and software tasks, etc with a few clicks. It offers lot of useful features and all you have to do is to click New Task, select the type of task you want to perform and enter further details. The backup set is created in standard ZIP format. This allows flexibility in restoring the data using any zip software to unzip the backup set.
Once it is done, you can use the JaBack scheduler to automate the task you have created. Chain is an interface, where you can run programs (.exe or .bat), commands, FTP, email, web download and other tasks in any sequence. You can choose to terminate tasks, if they are still running after certain time. You can also run tasks with dependencies. For example, you can run a FTP task first, and if it is successful, then the chain can automatically email the downloaded files! You can also choose to stop a chain if a certain task fails, or exits with a certain exit code. Talk about task automation, JaBack rocks!
