The internet is abuzz with the newly launch Apple’s iPad, a half inch thick tablet with 9.7 inch capacitive touch screen. Yeap, its bigger than iPhone but smaller than a notebook and like a netbook minus the keyboard. Jobs said the iPad will be better for playing games and watching video than either a laptop or a smart phone. As for web browsing pages can be visited with one touch action and you can view the whole webpage without squinting your eyes like on the iPhone. If you are planning to buy iPad, software will be bundled with the iPad includes a calendar, maps, a video player and iPod software for playing music. All seem to have been slightly redesigned to take advantage of the iPad’s bigger screen; not much of a difference in functions and features with iPhone/iPod.
There have been mixed reviews across the web some like it and some don’t. Some still prefer the iPhone because it is smaller to lug around and fit nicely into pockets. Unlike iPhone, you cannot make any call using iPad but it is like a electronic writing board without the need to lug around a keyboard. Its thin and could easily fit into a small bag and still can be carried around like a 10 inch netbook. For some of us with bigger fingers, myself included, iPad is the ideal gadget for composing email with its virtual keyboard which can be turn on and off anytime. 
A new features on the iPad that really stands out from mobility perspective is the 10 hours of battery juice for surfing the web on Wi-Fi, watching video, or listening to music on a single charge. Jobs even claim that it can go on standby for a month for iPad. With apps like navigational maps included, iPad is one awesome gadget for frequent travelers. Plus charging of the iPad can be done via power adapter or USB to computer system. Good bye power outlet hunting!
Obviously this is set to be a Kindle killer. Reading ebooks or iBooks, e-newspapers and e-magizines on the go will be a very cool experience – its in colors. Gaming is now even better compared to iPhone and even PSP with its larger screen and the compatibility with iPhone games and apps.
Personally, I think it is going to be a great mobile work tool compared to Blackberry although boss will not approve of it. With gaming features, there is going to be gaming session during breaks. In terms of owning an iPad or an iPhone, well it depends on ones budget and needs. I myself will go for the iPad because it is fulfilling all my needs or wants actually. However, I’m saving for the 3G version for more connectivity options; not that I don’t like iPhone for me its screen is just too small for my fingers. SMS will cause blister on my fingers! 
To sum it up for iPad, its like the same hot chick that went for a breast enlargement surgery. Yes, its same pleasure but with bigger boobies for sweating your fingers.
